To learn more about concussions take the CDC’s FREE "Heads Up! Online Training for Youth Sports Coaches."  This training will help you with a basic understanding of concussions.  Simply go online and take the self-guided training.

A great article by Tony DiCicco a National Team Coach.  Being cut from a team is not the end of the world, and it is not, although it may seem like it at the time, a personal attack.  If parents can somehow make their children understand this fact, then it will allow them to move forward - and maybe next time they will make the team.
