The Burrillville-Glocester Youth Soccer Association will be offering $2000, which will be divided by up to eight $250 scholarships to graduating seniors who are former Association participants.  The number and amounts of the awards will be determined by a scholarship review committee established by the Association.  All students who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply.
 

Qualifications:

1. Resident of the Town of Burrillville or Glocester (including areas within the Foster-Glocester Regional School District.)

2. Former BGYSA participant.

3. Graduating from high school in 2010 and pursuing post secondary education at an accredited institution.

Awards are based upon academics, citizenship, community service, athletic achievement and other factors as may be determined by the committee.

To apply:

1. Complete the application form.

2. Submit an official transcript of high school grades.

3. Provide the committee with two letters of recommendation (one academic, one extracurricular or community involvement).

4. Include a copy of letters of acceptance to post secondary schools.
